If you don't use too much your fingers in your UMPC/Origami you will find that the scroll bars are taking a lot of space in your small screen something that you can notice in applications like Outlook. I asked recently how to change the scroll bar width to Sears, one of the members of the Microsoft Origami team and here is his answer:
Quote:
The [registry] keys we're changing are under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics, "ScrollHeight" and "ScrollWidth". I'd recommend just changing it in the UI by doing the following:
1. In Control Panel, open Display.
2. Tap the Appearance tab, and then tap Advanced.
3. In the Item list, tap Scrollbar, and under Size, enter a width.
The default value in Origamis is 28, I changed to 20 and it seems to me a lot better and reasonable width.
